Some home remedies which can be used to make scratches heal faster are:

1. Mix baking soda with water and make a paste. Apply the paste to the area which is itching.

2. Take hot water for bathing, add some salt to it so that it is dissolved and take a bath with the water.

3. Neosporan antibiotic can be applied to the affected area

4. For a small scratch, salt water can be added to close it and disinfect it. Then apply aloe vera gel directly from a plant or lotion , this will help the scar to get healed quickly. If aloe vera gel is not available, a Vitamin E capsule can be broken and applied to the affected area.

5. Benedryl (antihistamine) cream or hydro-cortisone cream , which are available over the counter can be used.
