Home remedies for stomach ulcers

Stomach ulcers can be painful, making it difficult to eat any food.  Some home remedies for these ulcers are:

  • Sprinkle a small amount of red pepper (cayenne) on the food
  • Aloe vera juice
  • Drink plenty of fresh water at regular intervals throughout the day
  • Drink Cabbage juice
  • Drink Milk regularly

Medications are a temporary cure for ulcers, an effective cure involves treating the cause of the ulcer and includes:

1. Reducing stress levels, by eliminating and avoiding the causes of stress like increased work load, find ways to release the stress

2. Having adequate sleep, as the body repairs itself while a person is asleep. If you have a restful sleep, the ulcers can heal faster.  Lack of sleep can also increase the stress levels and further aggravate the problem.

3. Avoid spicy food, tea and coffee, greasy food

4. Acidic foods like lime and orange juice, lettuce, tomato, celery

5. Drink plenty of milk.
